Galaxy of Pen & Paper is an RPG set in the year 1999 with extraterrestrial aliens to fight and intergalactic missions to keep you busy. It often breaks the fourth wall, featuring a group of friends that enjoy bouncing classic memes off each other. This Dnd-inspired game boasts new characters, skills, classes, and planets for the brave space explorer, with their dice ready to roll.

A New Challenger Appears! The Epic Games Store

Just a week ago, I was tipped off about the existence of a digital game store called the Epic Games Store, featuring curated PC games for both Windows and Mac. As a long-time fan of Steam, I was kind of skeptical about the quality of games released on the Epic Games Store, but nonetheless, I’ll give them a fair chance to see if they do provide a better deal to indie developers than their competitors.

In this review, I will be covering what Epic Games has to offer as a platform designed to support developers and the gaming community at large. As mentioned in its FAQ page, out of every purchase, developers will receive 88% of the profits generated from selling their games. And I have to admit, it’s a lot easier to set up than the Steam client.

Speedrunning Charity Events: A Step Forward for Gaming

For the longest time, video games were associated with the stigma of being for loners who’d rather sit at home by themselves and avoid interacting with society. The lack of exercise and poor dieting habits didn’t help either.

While some gamers may act like this, an event that has been taking place since the 2010s is proving otherwise on top of showing the generous nature of the gaming community to the public.

Depending on the year or season, this event goes by two names: ADGQ/Awesome Games Done Quick and SDGQ/ Summer Games Done Quick, but in this article, we’ll refer to both as AGDQ to avoid giving ourselves a headache.
